Savoury or sweet? Temperance Society offers a large menu with classic breakfast platters, protein packed seafood and chicken mains, sweet french toasts, and even power smoothie bowls! There's something for everyone! They also clearly indicate vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and dairy free options in the menu. The Craboulade features poached eggs on crab cakes with a refreshing mango salsa on top of pea puree. The crab cakes had a nice and juicy texture with a crispy exterior, and the eggs were poached to perfection. The acidity of the mango salsa was well balanced by the earthy taste of the pea puree, which was seasoned well with a nice savoury taste. Huevos Benedictos is a classic eggs benedict on potato hash, with avocado and a unique chipotle hollandaise. It seems to incorporate a fun twist of American flavours, which I personally like a lot. The drinks are nice too! The smoothie is thick and rather filling; it's almost a meal on its own!! Cozy, warm wooden interior and a cute heated courtyard in the back. ❤️: If you live seafood like me, I’d definitely recommend the Seafood Pescatore—pasta with 🦐 prawns, 🐙 calamari, fresh local mussels, 🦀 blue swimmer crab meat tossed with 🧄 garlic, 🌶️ chili, and 🫚 ginger with a hint of 🍋 lemon zest in house-made aurora sauce.

Lamb croquette and crab cakes just scream unique. The croquettes were perfectly fried and super light. It paired really well with all the vegetables. Crab cakes were amazing. The poached eggs were perfectly runny and went extremely well with the mango salsa. The smoothies were fantastic. I could have these everyday if I could. They were refreshing and perfectly balanced. The toppings didn’t overpower the drink nor got overwhelming which often occurs with some smoothies. Highly recommend temperance society if you haven’t visited. It’s close to chaddy so it’s a perfect way to eat good food then walk it all off at the shops.

Delicious food, smoothies and ambience was great, dog friendly cafe is always a bonus. I ordered the pink smoothie which was really refreshing and not too sweet, and paired nicely with the fried chicken power bowl I ordered and added potato rosti, which was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, perfectly cooked. The service was also amazing, I would definitely go back here again with some friends! and my dog!

I had the pleasure of visiting this cafe for breakfast and I have to say, it was an outstanding experience. The French toast was absolutely divine - it was cooked to perfection and had just the right amount of sweetness. I couldn't resist ordering the green punch smoothie, and I'm glad I did because it was truly a star I recommend this! The combination of flavors was unique and refreshing, and it was a great accompaniment to my meal. I also tried the crispy hash stack, which was a real treat. The hash browns were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the toppings were absolutely delicious. The sides were just as tasty and really rounded out the meal. The service was excellent - the staff were attentive, friendly, and accommodating. They made us feel very welcome and we didn't have to wait long for our food to arrive. The ambience of the cafe was also great - it was cozy and inviting, and the decor was charming. Overall, I highly recommend this cafe for anyone looking for a delicious breakfast with great service in a lovely atmosphere. The French toast, green pinch smoothie, and crispy hash stack were all exceptional, and I can't wait to go back and try more of their dishes!!
